Luke Beston Sighting
We may not have seen much of Luca Beston-Gracie on the Internet lately, but that does not mean he has disappeard. I was having dinner at the Outback Steak House with a bunch of jiu jitsu guys last night, when who should walk into the restaurant but my good friend Luke and his wife Angela.
After spending the evening with Luke, and as a public service, I have decided to answer the most common Luke Beston questions:
Yes, Luke exists. No, he is not a troll. Yes, he really has a brown belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu. No, he never gets tired of interviewing Adam 'Barnone' Guerra. Yes, he really does believe the things he writes. No, he does not talk with a "Brazilian" accent (his Australian accent is funny enough). Yes, he really is a Gracie by marriage - and half Brazilian by marriage, too.
Meanhile, I will give you a friendly word of advice. If you are in the greater Los Angeles area, be careful to show all due respect to any Australian you meet who happens to be flanked by a beautiful Brazilian woman - I would not want Luke to have to unleash the devestatingly effective art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu on you.
