MMA "journalist" arrested for murder

Rafiel Torre, the former writer from ADCC news, has been arrested and charged with first degree murder:

Detectives believe Torre killed Richards [his girlfriend's husband] so he could maintain his love affair with Richards' wife. Torre's body was found in the parking lot of the Albertson's supermarket at Carnelian Avenue and Foothill Boulevard.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Sgt. Tom Bradford or Detective Brad Toms of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's homicide detail at (909) 387-3589.

Torre, who pled not guilty, is being represented by the public defender in the case.

Until now, Torre was best known for his famously bad "gonzo" interviews of MMA fighters, getting destroyed by a purple belt in the original ADCC submission wrestling championships, having a very "suspicous" fight in King of the Cage and for having falesly claimed to have earned a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt from his father. However, around the time of the allged murder, Torre completely dropped out of the MMA fight scene and had not been heard from for several years.

While rumors that Torre might have a connection to the murder of his girlfriend's husband had floated around the Internet for quite some time, the arrest marks the first time Torre was definitively connected to the crime.

If found guilty, Torre faces a possible death sentence.
