Dana White embarrasses K1's producer

As I noted with some skepticism earlier, K1 producer Sadahuru Tanigawa claimed that UFC 60 had 800,000 PPV buys and that the UFC paid K1 $16 million from PPV revenue for the right to have Royce Gracie appear in the UFC.

When MMANews.com asked Dana White about these claims Dana White laughed and said, "Yeah, no. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life." While Dana White may have thought he was mocking the MMA media, he was actually attacking the credibility of K1's Tanigawa.

This small episode actually presents a valuable lesson about public relations. When being interviewed it may be better to be circumspect and polite, because unless you know all the facts that led to a question, you never know who you may be insulting.
