Like kissing your sister
This is a strange turn. Dana White, speaking about the Quinton Jackson vs. Dan Henderson fight, dropped this bomb:
I hope that Dana White and Zuffa have some big plans up their sleeves for the Pride because, using a football analogy, a non-title fight between Jackson and Hnderson feels kinda like kissing your sister.

“No. What we’re doing with that thing is we’re respecting both (the UFC and PRIDE) titles. The UFC title is the UFC champion and we’re respecting Dan as the PRIDE champion. Quinton will walk out with his belt if Dan wins and vice versa.“What? The champions of the Pride and the UFC will meet without their titles on the line?

Whaaa.. If neither gets both belts or a unified belt, it feels like a total waste going there..
After all these Dana issues, I am actually starting to strongly dislike this man. He needs a vacation, the lack of sleep could make anyone go crazy.

This move is so stupid that Dana would not do this unless it helps the business longterm. I hate the guy but I'd love to have him run my company. I really don't think he would open himself up to this type of attack unless hes got a move hes playing on the back end. I'm not sure what that is yet. What do you think?

Dana must have a move he's playing on the backend of this. He too smart a businessman to do something this STRANGE. Or maybe he's not a good businessman. Time will tell. The UFC will grow no matter what in the next ten years; into foriegn markets. It might be like the NBA, good numbers abroad but fading here in the US. The company still makes money even though we the fans think it sucks. I hope I'm wrong but the UFC is business, not a charity.
